Financial Aid

Financial Assistance Programs

Med College offers Financial Aid Assistance for those who qualify. The Financial Aid Assistance Programs are supported by the U. S. Department of Education. These programs are designed to help applicants who have limited financial resources by providing funds in the form of grants. This financial assistance is primarily for students who would not otherwise be able to continue their education. Award of federal financial assistance as described above is conditioned on the availability of funds and on the financial need of the applicant.

Med College is approved by the State Approving Agency for the enrollment of those eligible to receive Veteran Educational benefits.

Med College is approved by Vocational Rehabilitation for the enrollment of those eligible to receive Vocational Rehabilitation benefits.

Med College’s financial office offers payment plans for the students who qualify. The selection of a payment plan will be determined by the students and the school’s business office prior to the start of the program.

Financing Your Education

Med College wants to help you succeed academically and financially. We have a variety of ways for you to fund your education. We offer competitive tuition rates that make earning a career-focused education reasonably affordable.

Our schools employ knowledgeable Financial Aid advisers who help qualifying students for Federal Aid find the proper grants and loans. We even have our institutional payment plans without any interest.

Once the school officially accepts a student’s application for admission, the student may begin applying for financial assistance.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®)

STARTING THE LOAN PROCESS

Students apply for Federal Student Loans by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). After completing the FAFSA, two additional steps must be completed to secure your loans. Your Financial Aid counselor will help guide you through these steps.

Student Loans

STUDENT LOANS

For many students, loans represent an essential resource to help finance educational expenses. Whether federally or privately funded, loans can help fill the gap between need-based financial aid eligibility and total educational costs. In nearly every case, loan repayment begins after you graduate or leave Med College.

PELL GRANTS

Pell Grants

The Pell Grant is an entitlement program for those who need it to attend a post-secondary educational institution. The amount of the Pell Grant entitlement is determined based on the cost of education at the institution attended and the actual number of credits for which the student is enrolled.

Students can reapply annually for Pell consideration. All students receive a copy of The Student Guide for Financial Aid, which the U.S. Department of Education distributes.

A Federal Pell Grant does not have to be repaid. Federal Pell Grants are awarded only to undergraduate students who have not earned a bachelor’s or professional degree. Awards can range to a specific amount per academic year based on the family’s or individual’s financial needs and the education cost.

Students are notified of their Federal Pell Grant eligibility through an Institutional Student Information Record (ISIR). This report is electronically transmitted directly to the Institute by the federal processor. The U.S. Department of Education employs a uniform formula to evaluate the information on the student aid application and determine the need index. The ISIR must be reviewed, and eligibility confirmed by the Financial Aid Office to receive an award.
